Code: BFS/21/122 Trauma Informed Practice - Advancing Your Practice with Clients Experiencing Multiple Disadvantages

This online course will look in-depth at trauma, how people respond to trauma, and the impacts of trauma on the brain. It will explore the Trauma-Informed Practice model developed by Harris and Fallot, through the lens of clients who experience multiple disadvantages and address ways in which clients can be supported practically.

Discussions and case studies will be utilized and learners will be able to reflect on their own practice and explore ways in which they can advance their trauma-informed support to survivors.

This course is for any frontline workers and managers who have completed the course Enhancing Your Trauma-Informed Approach for Clients Experiencing Multiple Disadvantages and would like to advance their practice with women who experience violence, abuse, and multiple disadvantages.
